She began to take charge of stock ordering and salaries, and when the practice relocated to the present premises which has 7 surgeries in 1989, Carol was given an office and the title of Practice Manager whilst still working part time in surgery. In May 1990 she oversaw the development of the second branch in Blackburn. In 1998 she completed the Diploma in Dental Practice management whilst expecting her son. She then went on to be an orthodontic nurse until she stopped working in surgery (apart from emergencies) in 2008.
In 2009 the second branch in Blackburn relocated and Carol project managed the conversion to a dental practice.
Outside of work, Carol enjoys reading and walking.
